About Steven
Steven joins Well-Safe from his previous position as QHSE Manager at Proserv, with almost 18 years’ experience in QHSE management systems, which commenced in the communications industry in 2000 before moving into the Oil and Gas sector in 2009.
Initially as the company’s QHSE Representative at Cutting Underwater Technologies UK from 2009, Steven led the way in developing and successfully implementing the company’s QHSE management systems through several successful subsea and topside maintenance and decommissioning campaigns, which include the cutting operations required for the removal of structures from the Ekofisk field. In 2011 Steven responded to an opportunity and joined Nautronix as the company’s QHSE Manager and, through the engagement of personnel and introduction of several improvement initiatives, managed the changes to the company’s systems to improve their overall effectiveness as the business continued to develop and grow. Following the acquisition of Nautronix by Proserv in 2015, Steven continued in his role as QHSE Manager and latterly managed the changes required to successfully achieve the requirements of the new ISO standards, while also contributing and supporting QHSE training and development efforts elsewhere in the organisation.
Throughout his career, the Health and Safety of personnel and management of Environmental impacts have been key priorities, with positive results being achieved along the way.
At Well-Safe Solutions, Steven’s responsibilities include the setup, facilitation and management of the company’s integrated QHSE Management system to levels that will successfully achieve the requirements of all interested parties including customer, regulatory and certification bodies.
